Phi Theta Kappa is the official honor society for two-year colleges, as recognized by the American Association of Community Colleges. Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society of the two-year college, established in 1918, is the largest honor society in American higher education with more than 1.5 million members and over 1,200 chapters located in all 50 states and abroad. Membership is based on superior academic achievement and is conferred only by invitation of your local chapter.
